Friendship at UINDY

I spent the week at the University of Indianapolis with some friends and took their photos before they all went their separate ways. They've grown so close over the course of their freshman year. I can tell that they will be friends for a long time to come. They were so excited to have their pictures taken!!!!! I absolutely love doing portraits!!!!!!

Lynn!

Lynn and I did a very impromptu shoot one afternoon on BYU's campus. She was so fun! She'd just find a spot, pose, and give me two faces: serious and smile. I hope she enjoys these photos and feels that they capture her personality well.

Engagement Photos: Dallin and Cassie

Yesterday was my first Engagement photo session!!!!! It was FANTASTIC!!! So much fun!!! Dallin and Cassie were great and were up for pretty much anything....I'm very proud of how the pictures turned out and I think, just from the couple hours that I was with them, that I truly captured their personalities and relationship.

These pictures were taken in both Provo Castle and Center Street alley ways in Provo, Utah. The stone of the castle and the view of Utah Valley was an absolutely gorgeous backdrop. The trees are starting to bloom and the grass is greening up!!

Landscapes

I live in the absolutely gorgeous Utah Valley with mountains everywhere you turn. The majestic Wasatch Mountains sometimes appear to me as a fake backdrop, too good to be true. The light constantly changes and bounces off the mountains in different ways, leading to different shots all the time. Landscapes are gorgeous creations and I'm glad to live in such an amazing place.

My first engagement photo shoot is this weekend with Cassie and Dallin! I'm so excited and couldn't be any more nervous either! Everyday Objects

I tend to take lots of pictures of random, everyday objects and occurrences, since not many people here in Utah want to be models for me. I somehow always find something to take a photo of! Once I get back to Indiana, I'll have lots more portraits and less everyday objects.

There is so much in this world, and all I want to do is capture every moment of my life and others' as best I can.
